Cleanout Cost Estimator
Crews price cleanouts in cubic yards, not vibes. Count the spaces to clear, say how full the house really is, and this estimator sizes the job in the industry's own units, then builds the three-line worksheet (volume, access, disposal) that any honest quote should match line for line.
That is roughly 3.3 to 5.2 truckloads (a typical full-size junk truck box holds about 15 cubic yards), or 1.7 to 2.6 standard 30-yard roll-off containers. At an assumed 175 pounds per cubic yard, the load runs about 4.3 to 6.8 tons at the disposal scale.
Honest notes: this is a planning estimate built on the stated assumptions, not a quote, and the defaults are placeholders to replace with local numbers. Room volumes assume typically furnished spaces; the range spread covers how differently two similar houses can pack. Disposal gate rates, labor markets, and minimum charges vary a lot by region, so get the real numbers in writing from whoever you hire, itemized in these same three lines. Donation and resale can offset real dollars and are not modeled here.
